Flex Staff Housing rents fully furnished homes to companies that install conveyor and sortation systems, automated storage (AS/RS), robotics and cold stores in distribution centres. Planning housing around the project phases

A distribution centre project rarely keeps the same team from start to finish. Mechanical installation needs the largest crew. Electrical work, commissioning and testing follow with smaller, more specialist teams. Go-live support can run for weeks after handover.

Projects run from a few weeks to many months. We plan the number of homes with you for each phase:

• Start-up: a small group of supervisors and engineers, often in 1 or 2 apartments.
• Installation peak: several homes close to each other for the main crew.
• Commissioning and go-live: fewer homes as the crew gets smaller; homes can be released within the agreed notice period.

If the schedule moves, we can extend properties when they are available, or release them when the work ends early.

How many homes do you need?

Our homes usually have 2 to 6 bedrooms, with 1 or 2 people in each bedroom depending on your company policy and municipal rules. A crew of 12 sharing rooms in pairs often fits in 2 homes. In Amsterdam, homes start from €3,000 (2 bedrooms), €4,000 (3 bedrooms) and €5,000 (4 bedrooms) per month. For Hoofddorp, Almere, Lelystad, Rotterdam and other areas, prices are on request.
